Common questions
Can the watermark be removed?
It is drawn into each page rather than added as an annotation or a separate layer, so viewers cannot hide it and stamp removers do not see it. Someone with a PDF editor can still edit page content: tick Burn into the page and every page becomes an image with the mark inside it, which no editor can lift.
How do per-recipient copies work?
Paste one name per line, up to 20. You get a ZIP with one PDF per name, and each copy carries that name on a line under the watermark text. If a copy turns up where it should not, the name on it says whose it was.
Can I watermark several PDFs at once?
Yes. Switch to batch mode and drop several PDFs: each one gets the same watermark, and you download them together as a ZIP. One copy per recipient works on one PDF at a time.
Does it change the rest of my PDF?
Only the mark is added. Without burn-in the text stays selectable, links keep working and images keep their resolution. A password-protected PDF needs to be unlocked first.
Is there a file size limit?
Pro raises the limit to 500 MB per file with 3,000 credits a month; larger plans go higher.
