How it works
Common questions
Why convert PDF to JPG?
PDF files aren't always easy to share or display in contexts that expect images — social media posts, email previews, slide decks, or websites. Converting to JPG gives you images that open anywhere, can be embedded or attached easily, and don't require a PDF reader to view.
What resolution will the JPG images be?
Formatly renders PDFs at LibreOffice's default screen resolution — comfortable for web use and previews. A configurable DPI picker (with a print-quality 300 DPI option for Pro) is on the post-launch roadmap; until it ships, if you need print-resolution images today, email support@formatly.pro.
How are multi-page PDFs handled?
Each page of your PDF is converted to a separate JPG image. For PDFs with more than one page, the output images are bundled into a ZIP archive. You download one ZIP file and extract the individual page images from it.
Is there a file size limit?
Free users can convert PDFs up to 25 MB without an account, or up to 10 conversions per day with a free account. Pro users get 500 MB per file. Business users get up to 5 GB — suitable for large multi-page documents.
