Rotate a PDF
the right way up.

Turn every page 90°, 180° or 270° clockwise and download a corrected copy — perfect for pages that were scanned sideways or upside-down. No quality loss: pages are rotated in place, never re-rendered.

90°, 180° or 270°
Pick a clockwise angle and it's applied to every page. The rotation is added to any existing orientation, so an already-tilted page ends up where you'd expect.
Zero quality loss
Pages aren't flattened to images or re-encoded — only the page's rotation flag changes. Text stays selectable, vectors stay sharp, file size barely moves.
Private & rule-based
No AI, no guesswork — the same input always gives the same result. Uploaded over HTTPS, processed in the EU, and permanently deleted within 1 hour.

How it works

1
Upload your PDF
Drag and drop, or click to browse. Single or multi-page documents both work.
2
Choose the angle
Pick 90°, 180° or 270° clockwise. The rotation applies to every page in the file.
3
Download the fixed PDF
Get a corrected copy in seconds, with text and vectors fully intact.

Common questions

Does rotating reduce the quality of my PDF?

No. We change each page's rotation flag rather than re-rendering it to an image, so text stays selectable, vector graphics stay crisp, and the file size is essentially unchanged. This is different from "print to PDF" tools that flatten everything to a raster.

Can I rotate only some pages?

The tool currently rotates every page by the same angle, which covers the most common case (a whole document scanned sideways). If you need per-page rotation, split the PDF first with our Split PDF tool, rotate the pages you need, then merge them back together.

Is the rotation permanent?

Yes — the downloaded PDF opens at the new orientation in every viewer (Acrobat, Preview, browsers, phones). It's not a temporary "view rotation" that resets when you reopen the file.

Is it free?

Every account gets one free try of each Pro tool, so you can rotate a PDF once with a free account before deciding. Rotation is included on Pro (€9.99/mo), Business and Enterprise, alongside the rest of the Tools tab.
