Split a PDF
into exactly the pages you need.

Break one PDF into several — one file per page, or one file per page-range you choose (like 1-3, 4, 5-8). You get back a tidy ZIP of the resulting PDFs. Rule-based, no AI, no quality loss.

Per page or per range
Split into one PDF per page, or define your own ranges — "1-3, 4, 5-8" gives you three files. Ranges are 1-based and inclusive, exactly as you'd write them.
One clean ZIP
Every output PDF is bundled into a single ZIP download, clearly named by page (page-001.pdf) or range (pages-004-005.pdf) so you always know what's what.
No quality loss
Pages are copied as-is into the new files — text stays selectable, vectors stay sharp. 100% rule-based, processed in the EU, deleted within 1 hour.

Common questions

How do I extract just a few pages?

Use the custom-ranges option. To pull out pages 2 to 5 as a single PDF, enter 2-5. To get pages 1, 3 and 7 as three separate files, enter 1, 3, 7. You can mix both: 1-3, 4, 5-8.

Why do I get a ZIP instead of a PDF?

Splitting always produces more than one file, so we bundle them into a single ZIP for a one-click download. Unzip it and you'll find each PDF named by its page or range.

Does splitting change the page content?

No. Pages are copied verbatim into the new PDFs — same text, same fonts, same vectors, no re-rendering. It's 100% rule-based, so the same input and ranges always give the same output.

Is it free?

Every account gets one free try of each Pro tool, so you can split a PDF once with a free account first. Splitting is included on Pro (€9.99/mo), Business and Enterprise.
